Writing desk

 By Ico Parisi

The iconic writing desk ‘Terni’, designed in 1958 by Ico Parisi and produced by Mim Roma in Italy. Made of solid Indian rosewood and rosewood veneer with a beautiful grain, finished with aluminium details. The design features a block with 5 drawers, two on one end and three on the other. On the latter side you can also find a thin pencil drawer. The clever design allows the underneath storage to be interchanged from right to left depending on the users preference. The Terni desk can be used as a freestanding working station by two people at once on both ends. In good condition with a few superficial marks on the top as shown in the pictures. The drawers are unlocked but the original key is missing. One of the legs was professionally restored, as visible in the pictures. Mim’s original maker label is present on the frame.
