Rare freestanding writing desk designed by Severin Hansen and produced by Haslev Mobelsnedkeri in Denmark around 1960. This desk in teak veneer has all the characteristic features from Severin Hansens designs. Minimalist in details with angular silhouettes and tapered legs. Most of the pieces by Severin Hansen were produced in rosewood and mahogany, only a small number of pieces were made in teak. Comes with the original key. The leg in the back on the right hand side has a restauration mark at the top, as shown in the pictures. In very good condition.
