Table lamp

Table lamp in cork, designed and produced by Herda in the Netherlands in the 1960’s. This piece has of a geometric lamp shade with a cork print, giving it a gloomy look once lit. The foot consists out of 6 assembled cylinders.

 

The design is reminiscent to the Prairie style of Frank Lloyd Wright. Brass finishings and marked with the makers sticker. The ribs of the lamp shade are stitched together and show the metal structure at the corners due to over-time tension. In good working condition with a few signs of use as shown in the pictures.
