Easy chair

 By Osvaldo Borsani

This lounge Chair, ‘P40’, was designed by Osvaldo Borsani in the mid 1950’s for Tecno, Italy. This item is the evolved third model with square frame legs and an extendable headrest. The chair can be adjusted in 468 positions and can be folded up completely to save space. The back can be reclined in different angles, the flexible rubber arm rests can be folded away and the chair features a flip-out leg rest with extendable metal footrest. The brass details and  Tecno logo are present on both sides of the chair.

The frame is a little crooked and the mechanism and fabric of this P40 can use some love. If you like to take on a project, this might be just the one for you.
