Dining table

 By Cees Braakman

Large dining table designed by Cees Braakman and produced by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1960. This design, a part of Braakman’s Japanese series, was revolutionary because it was Europe’s first flat-pack table available through mail-order. The big wengé table top can be lengthened 55cm with a hidden smaller leaf that slides with a built-in mechanism underneath the big one. In very good condition with some small wear as shown in the pictures.
