Dining table

 By Cees Braakman

Large dining table, designed by Cees Braakman and produced by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1960. This design, a part of Braakman’s Japanese series, was revolutionary because it was Europe’s first flat-pack table available through mail-order. The big off-white formica table top can be lengthened by a hidden smaller leaf that shoves under the big one. Also the wengé frame is in very good condition. Small signs of a previous life as seen in the pictures.
