Ilse

Ilse is the type of person who doesn’t stick to one type of brick. Our previous neighbour down the street traded in her amazing house for one that’s surrounded by more green.

Her new house is accompanied by birds chirping and a beautiful asian cherry which has just begun to bloom, much like Ilse herself growing up in a household with its own decorous furniture collection, among pieces of Le Corbusier and others. The black sofa is one of the pieces she kept, as it was a fixture of treasured childhood memories.

In her home you’re greeted by pleasant scents on the one hand, and souvenirs from her travels on the other. This is the carefully chosen setting for her vintage design pieces.

You can tell a lot about a person by the choices they make. Ilse’s warm personality was conveyed into an equally warm interior. Truly a house to come home to.
