This oil on canvas painting by Roberto Plevano is a sight on one of Milan’s big canals in the suburb of Corsico, painted in 1977. Plevano started out as a 23 year old with depicting the Milanese surroundings, houses and canals where he grew up. In this work he’s already on the turning point where things got more synthetic, geometric and abstract. Dimensions include the frame. Some using marks on the frame, further in good condition. Signed and dated on the back.
