Side tables
| By Eileen Gray
Set of two side tables, designed by Eileen Gray and produced by ClassiCon in Germany in the 1950s. She was one of the few female designer-architects of that time who were able to mark their contribution in a, back then, male-dominated world of design. Working f.e. alongside Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier. These tables feature chrome-plated steel tubes with black lacquered lightweight shelves. A nice Modernist contrast between the rounded shelves and the angular frame, with both materials reflecting in their own way. The base can easily slide under your bedside or armchair. Thus breakfast or bedtime reading is within comfortable reach. In good condition with some normal wear.
